The Canucks beat the San Jose Sharks last night.  This game was a lot of fun to watch.  The Canucks going in with a 3 game win streak and San Jose is always always a strong team.  They had a 4 game win streak snapped last night.  There were going to be some scores settled.  The 1st meeting for there teams since the playoffs, when a Kevin Bieksa goal in double over time booted the Sharks out and made the Canucks Western Conference Champions.

The 1st score settled was a fight between Aaron Volpatti and Brad Winchester early in the 1st period.  That fight may have happened after the 2 scrapped in a preseason game and Volpatti knocked Winchester out in one punch.  Pay back?  Watch the fight in preseason in "if you need a visual"

Malhorta opened up the scoring but the puck actually deflected off a San Jose stick but that is hockey and it went in the net so it counts.  San Jose's Murray tied it up and that was it for the 1st.  In the 2nd Henrik Sedin and Andrew Alberts scored to make it 3-1.  Cory Schneider was in net for his 4 consecutive start.  With just under 2 minutes left in the 3rd San Jose's Marleau scroed to make it 3-2.  San Jose really worked hard for the last minute of the game but came up short.  Canucks head home now and play the Columbus Blue Jackets tuesday at Rogers Arena.

I have always been honest I love hockey for the sport but the men that play are good lookin and sometimes play with unreal injuries that only adds to the hotness factor. Take Kris Letang last night in Pittsburgh vs Montreal game.  Alternate Captain Malkin scored the game opener 21 seconds into the 1st period and from there is was all Montreal.  Scoring 3 goals to make it 3-1 half way through the 2nd.  Pittsburgh Dupuis scored in the 2nd for Pittsburgh, 3-2.  Then Pittsburgh came back in the 3rd and Staal notched one to make it 3-3 and take the game into over time.  This is where the story gets good.  Kris Letang took a hit late in regulation that left him with a bloodied and broken nose.  What is a hockey player to do?  Head to the locker game, get your medical team to look after you.  Clean you up and then you head onto the ice for over time and score the game winner.  That is exactly what Letang did.  Come on Ladies you can't tell me that that is not hot.  Letang we like your style. Crobsy picked up an assist in this game, making his total 8 points in 4 games.

Injuries happen in hockey all the time.  It is a very physical sport.  Protocol is in place for situations where players hit the ice and don't get up.  Which is what happened with Patrick Eaves last night in Detroit.  Eaves took a puck to the ear from Nashville Predators defence Roman Josi and it knocked him out.  Laying motionless on the ice, medical staff got Eaves on a stretcher and rushed him hospital.  Fans, coaches and players are showed support for Eaves by clapping, and banging sticks as he left the ice.  Once at the hospital they discovered the puck had fractured Eaves jaw.  Medical staff with keep an eye on Eaves and see if he needs surgery.  Here at Hockey Talk with Courtney we wish Patrick Eaves and safe and speedy recovery.

Women Only Fantasy Hockey Draft results for November 26th
