In the 3rd period Winnipeg took a brief lead 2-1 with a goal by Blake Wheeler only to have Vancouver's All Star D-Man Alex Edler tie it up less then 3 minutes later. There are only four games being played tonight:
Florida and Pittsburgh at 4:00pm (Pittsburgh is on a 7 game win streak)
Los Angeles and Detroit at 4:30pm
NY Rangers and Chicago at 5:30pm (Toews won't be playing but is skating again after suffering a concussion back in February)
Winnipeg and Calgary at 6:00pm (This will be an interesting game because both the current Jets and Flames both once were the Atlanta teams. The Calgary Flames use to be the Atlanta Flames back until 1980 when the team relocated to Calgary. The Winnipeg Jets returned to Winnipeg after the original franchise moved to Phoenix in 1996 and became the Coyotes. Now the current Jets are actually the old Atlanta Thrashers. A game between two old Atlanta teams!) Enjoy X
